THE STORY
Following the development of the original 4 inch Airlink Stream, I wanted to push the limits of weight, size, and maneuverability even further. While the 4 inch platform was designed with maximum flight time in mind, the new Airlink Stream 35 focuses on agility and compactness without compromising cinematic performance (and still does up to 15min flight time!)
Built around the same design philosophy as its bigger brother, the AS35 has an incredibly compact wingspan of just 19cm (7.4 inches). Featuring a newly developed RX mounting solution and an upgraded electronics enclosure, this platform delivers exceptional durability, clean aesthetics, and outstanding flight characteristics.
The result is a highly capable ultra compact cinematic drone engineered for smooth, stable footage while offering the responsiveness and precision needed for demanding FPV flying.
HOW DOES IT DIFFER FROM THE OG 4in VERSION
The original Airlink Stream 4" was designed around one goal: maximum flight time. With the right setup, it is capable of up to 17 minutes 30 seconds of flight time, making it an incredibly efficient platform for long cinematic runs.
The new Airlink Stream 35 takes a slightly different approach. While still capable of an impressive 15 minute flight time, its focus is on compactness, agility, and outright flying performance.
Key differences include:
- Smaller footprint – 19cm wingspan vs 21cm
- Lighter weight – 232g vs 250g
- Higher power-to-weight ratio – resulting in a more responsive and agile feel
- Even cleaner flight logs – offering outstanding stability and tune performance
Interestingly, the frame itself is almost identical, with only 1 gram difference between the two. The weight savings come almost entirely from the smaller motors and propellers rather than the frame design.
If you're undecided, I'd still recommend the 4 inch version fitted with 3.5 inch props. It offers nearly all the agility benefits of the smaller setup while retaining the flexibility and endurance that made the original Airlink Stream so popular.
Ultimately, if your priority is maximum efficiency and versatility, go with the 4". If you want the smallest, lightest, and most agile Airlink Stream possible, the 35 is the one to choose.

WHAT IT'S FOR (and what it isn't)
This frame is designed for professional work, but it also excels at cruising, medium-range flights, and any application where efficiency matters.
This is not a freestyle frame in its stock configuration.
What you get is an incredibly light, floaty feel, smooth dive recoveries, and exceptional efficiency.
This is not a 5-inch replacement. It’s a different class entirely.
Where it shines is long, clean flights, especially when streaming and chasing fast moving subjects.
PRICING (yes, it's expensive)
For a 3.5 inch frame yes, it’s expensive.
The raw frame alone costs me 3/4 of the price.
Add all prints, hardware, packaging, and over a year of R&D, and this quickly stops being a budget product.
This frame is aimed at professionals. If the price doesn’t make sense to you, it probably isn’t for you, and that’s fine. Cheaper clones will surely come along.
This isn’t a mass market product.
It’s a machine built for pros, who know exactly why it exists.
